The Waldorf School of Lexington Community Association (CA) has a vital role in nurturing and tending the community life of the school. In support of and in collaboration with the Community Life Department, the Community Association fosters the health of the school community by inspiring joyful parent/caregiver participation and organizing their collective efforts to further the School's mission.

Starting Friday, September 8, 2023 the Community Association (CA) will meet on the second Friday of each month* in the music room from 8:00-9:00 a.m. Every parent/caregiver in the school is a member of the CA, and warmly welcomed and encouraged to attend the meetings. The Community Café and CA Meeting will be happening simultaneously—Café attendees are always welcome to popover and join the CA Meeting.
*Due to the observance of Veterans Day on November 10, the CA will meet on Friday, November 17.

Winter Warming Angel Room Crafting
The Angel Room provides an immersive and magical experience, where the young children are welcomed into an ethereal space, with soft lighting, soft music and little hand-made objects carefully placed throughout. An adult (angel-volunteer) shepherds each child through the Angel Room as the child selects one treasure to carry out with them. Volunteers make this experience possible! The entire community is invited to participate in the creation of the Angel Room by crafting the hand-made objects, setting up the room, and more. Information and volunteer sign-ups are shared in the fall.
